Refugee Craft Collaboration
In partnership with MADE51, an initiative established in 2018 by UNHCR, we connected refugee Somali beading artisans with an international fashion and interiors brand through a co-creation process.
Jennie Evaldsson
Based in Stockholm, and working globally, Jennie brings over 20 years of experience across the textile and interiors industry.
With a background in entrepreneurship, her work combines strategic thinking, product development, and project management. Big Blue Dot was founded to create tangible, positive impact with circularity at its core.
Since founding Big Blue Dot in 2021, Jennie has worked closely with Marimekko Oy, supporting their innovation works team as strategist, project manager, and circularity specialist. Other collaborations include Dedicated Brands, Kvadrat, Totême, Bunn Studios, Eton Shirts, and UPM Innovation.
She is returning guest lecturer at Kolding Design School in Denmark.
